SOAP MAKING

We collected the oil after frying and made fragrant soaps from it with some other additives. We were guided through the entire soap making process by Saša Ilijić - a man who has been making soaps for many years and selling them at local events.

CHRISTMAS TREE CARD

On the last day of the first semester (we went on winter break earlier than planned), we made our own photo TV out of a cardboard box, pieces of decorative ribbon and a few lanterns.

We wished everyone a healthy, happy and successful New Year and Christmas.

We are all happy because we made a Christmas tree out of photographs.

 HANDICAP CAP

It is very important that students develop responsibility
and love for every being on the planet in elementary school. This school year
2024/2025. year, class 2/2 with their teacher Gordana Janevska launched the
campaign "Cap for Handicap". With their activities, they influence
the change of social awareness and responsibility, both towards the environment
and towards people with disabilities.

These actions improve the quality of life of people with
disabilities and realize the full potential of every person with disabilities,
using the available resources in the community.

It is important that people with a certain physical
disability are removed from the margins of society, receive adequate help and
lead a more beautiful and quality life.

 ALPHABET OF PLANTS

We learned the Latin alphabet and our task was to create the Alphabet of Plants. It wasn't easy, we had to research! For some plants with a given letter, we spent a little more time finding them. Almost all the photos are from our private archives. The photos we uploaded from the internet have a link below so that someone can see where we downloaded the photo from. After the presentation, we were delighted, now we know the names of the plants with each letter and we can freely compete in the game Interesting Geography.

 RENEWABLE ENERGY ACTIVITIES
SPIN IT, SPIN IT CLOWN

We made a paper carousel in the shape of a clown. Take a look at how our carousels look and judge whether we managed to design our carousels in a creative and interesting way. At the end of two hours, we had fun! We used air to move our carousels.

Before we made the carousel, we talked about wind energy or aeolian energy, which will never run out and does not pollute the environment. The advantages of getting electricity from the wind are that the wind is free and there is no environmental pollution.

There are not many particularly windy areas in Serbia, which is why no wind farms have been built yet. However, it is believed that windmills could be built on Stara Planina to produce electricity.

We have concluded that energy is not in abundance. That is why we need to use alternative or renewable energy sources. The survival of future generations will depend on how and in what way we treat it, energy.

The obligation of all of us who live on this planet is to save energy. By saving energy, we save money. By using alternative or renewable energy sources, we create conditions for a healthy, ecological environment.

VISITING A FRIEND WITH SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

After the event, we handed over the money for humanitarian purposes. In our school, we have friends with severe developmental disabilities and we decided that our little means a lot to them. With the help of special education teachers, they acquired the necessary didactic material.

We were their guests and they showed us what didactic material they had acquired. It was fun! Our Dunja read the story "Three Little Pigs" to them. They listened with curiosity and looked forward to the meeting.

 FLOWER GARDEN - RECYCLING

Recycling has enormous environmental benefits. Recycling, first of all, prevents millions of pieces of waste from ending up in landfills where the waste cannot be reused. Landfills are not only toxic to the environment, but they also damage the beauty of the cities and places where they are located.

Recycling also saves the amount of energy that is spent daily on the production of new materials.

We collected corks and made a flower garden out of them in a creative way. We smelled them, the flowers did not smell, but our hearts were full of positive energy because from the useless we created our imagined creation - a flower garden...

PAPER BEADS

The main goal of the lesson – Visual Culture was to instruct students to strive towards the constant creation of useful objects, to embellish and shape them – reshape them so that they are not only useful but also beautiful.

The students established the concepts of part and whole and became familiar with the terms jeweler, goldsmith, jewelry. They developed a sense for practical conceptual solutions, hand motor skills when shaping decorative objects (beads). They were creative, precise and neat in their work.

At the end of the work, the students knew how to connect artistic professions and appropriate products, to use what was already used and create new, beautiful and useful objects. Today they made necklaces and bracelets from beads.

THE COMBINATION OF TRADITION AND HOLIDAYS

During the weekend, November 30th and December 1st, students of grade 2/2 of the “Dimitrije Todorović Kaplar” Primay School, with their teacher Gordana Janevska, participated in the now traditional tourist event under the slogan “Tradition to Europe”.

This event gave students the opportunity to participate with their works at a sales stand with the theme “New Year”. The hardworking children of this class were delighted with the activities they will implement during November. As much as they look forward to the upcoming holiday, they are also happy because they have the opportunity to actively participate in its preparation and participation in the event with their own efforts.

First, we discussed what activities we should implement and what we can do. After adopting several proposals, we agreed on what we needed for the work. The students brought the necessary materials from home. Their suggestion was that parents join us in one of the lessons when we make decorations. The parents gladly accepted the suggestion and responded to the invitation. We reserved the free activities lesson for socializing with parents and implementing a workshop on making decorations. The students exchanged ideas among themselves and, very motivated, made decorations. They enjoyed coloring, chopping, cutting, gluing and making imagined decorations. Colorful papers, glittering ribbons, and strings were used to create Christmas trees, ornaments and decorations. They were very successful and it was a real pleasure to watch them work. They cooperated and helped each other, borrowed materials and equipment, and were happy to have the help of their parents.

In the art lessons, the students showed creativity, imagination and artistic skills in creating greeting cards. They used previously acquired knowledge because they encountered making greeting cards in the first grade.

Our decorations and greeting cards were on the school's sales stand in the Cultural Center. At the scheduled time, the students sold various items from all the school students who participated in the implementation of these activities at the stand. They were real entrepreneurs.

Part of the money earned will be used to purchase didactic materials, and part will go to humanitarian purposes.
